FX4 Arch Molding Questions

Hey everybody,

I have a 2005 ford f150 xl and im wanting to put the FX4 arch molding on my truck i was wondering what i would need to do to get my truck ready for that?

FX4 fender flares are held on by a bunch of tiny holes and attachment hardware. Are you taping yours on or drilling a tons of tiny holes in your truck? Aftermarket OEM-look-a-likes might be an easier choice.

I would run far and fast from drilling tons of holes in my fenders just to fit plastic fener flars from an FX4. I would find a possibly cheaper aftermarket one that does not require so many holes or none at all. Good prep and quality 3M tape should do the trick. Do you want the stock FX4 plastic that will eventually fade, or painted ones to look cleaner and sportier? I don't mind the semi-faded plastic, but to go through the effort to add them, I would look long and hard at what I would put on.
