Question Tank problems

About a few months ago put a new tank and straps on my truck because it fell off and broke the fillerneck right off...but anyways now the rear strap where it hooks in rusted right threw. right now i got coax cable holding it on which i put on there when i put the new straps on because it looked pretty rusted and i was right but now what can i do for a permanent way to hold it up, appreciate some ideas

Did you figure something out?? Incase i have the same issue. I'm getting ready to replace my tank straps, hopefully the support isn't rusted out like yours.

All the supports under my truck are rusting out. Some pretty bad, I can pull the rusted metal off with my fingers. The life of the truck is nearing end,not mechanical just body. You wouldn't think by looking at it. Still looks great, but underneath not.
