Angry Wtf?!?!

So I was backing out of my driveway this morning, in my car, and I notice this on my truck!!

I did not notice it at all yesterday. I saw my back end plenty of times yesterday too. I bought a new bed and bed frame, so I was loading stuff in and out of the bed yesterday.

It looks like a trailer hitch hit it. It either happend Friday at work, or yesterday after I quit driving. I'm pretty pissed about it.

Can Maaco roll that out, or would I have to get a new bumper?

thats what I think. I want to think it was my neighbors. They are in construction, and are constantly backing their trucks and trailers into everyones driveway. But it could have happend at work on friday too, I just dont remember seeing it at all yesterday.

I agree. Looks like someone's hitch hit your bumper especially since your tailpipe looks untouched. Are there security cameras at your work? This happens occasionally at the place I work and people will have security roll back the tapes to help identify the perpetrator.

With your neighbors...not sure how to help with that one--Very frustrating!

Other than the indention, the bumper doesn't look misaligned or twisted so hope you can get it fixed and not need a replacement.

Best of luck, Keeks

Sorry Pal, you'll spend more money on someone repairing (welding it up) and painting it than its worth. In the end, you'd end up with a nice "washboard" look in the repaired are. You're going to need a New Bumper if you want it to look perfect..

I know it sucks man! Seems like every time I wash my truck there is a new dent or a deep scratch. No matter how much you baby your truck(like I do) crap like that happens. I use to park way down a parking lot away from people to avoid such things, untill I got a door ding put on it. Damn people these days are in a hurry and don't give a chit about what there doing and whose vehicle they damage. As long as theirs is ok, thats all that matters.

I still park far away from everyone.. and get the same results as you do. I will never forget the guy at work who got out of his car and set his binder on MY hood and opened it up to read something. I was standing in the window setting my alarm off and it never even phased him. I left a nasty note on his car window but he never called me. I hate that.

i was sitting in my truck in the parking lot at school and this girl pulled up next to me and opened her door straight into my truck. i was furious. i got out and it wasn't too bad (as in can't see it from a distance) but the truck was brand new!!! didn't yell at her or anything tho (just in case lol). but i did have to get her attention as she walked away. she opened the door straight into my truck and closed her door and walked away.... i was like wtf....

That sucks man, sucks to see that damage. Well atleast it wasn't a GM truck, would have got a much larger dent.

Yeah it sucks. The dent is only about 2" in diameter. I called the parts dept at ford and got a price for the bumper. I think it was about $507. Thats not painted. For them to paint it, I had to call another dept for a quote on that. They said painting would be about $150. I dont know if they charge for installing the new bumper, or what the grand total would be. Im guess $700+. Thats a little more than I want to spend on a 2" dent.
