Jammed Door Lock...Please Help!!

this is the 2nd time my truck got broken into within a month. i already replaced both locks once.....now the passenger side is jammed. the lock is stuck in the unlocked position. when i put the key in, it will turn to the lock position, but the key will not come out. if the key is in the door lock i can push the inside lock nob down....but then can not take the key out.

i have taken off the inside panel...but i'm not sure what metal rods go where, and how they're supposed to look. one of them looks bent. any ideas on how to fix this??

Wish I could help, I am having a similar problem with my driver side lock. The keyway has been twisted to a 45 degree angle and the door will not lock at all. i just got a quote from Ford for "about $300." (that does not include repairing the dent that the guy breaking in made).

Has anyone done this work themselves?
