I have never seen a Expy with a mach system have a aftermarket head unit, nor have I ever tried to install one. I guess I want to know why you want to replace you head unit??? Because of the mach system and the integration with the headphone jack and the rear volume control, I would say "It's not going to happen". When ever a customer wanted something different or better sound I'd sell them the whole system, the only option that you may have is the Visteon systems, but if its looks you want they are just about the same.

It can be done....

Any quality car audio shop should be able to provide the adapters necessary to integrate an aftermarket head unit into the Expy. You will loose your rear controls.

However, if you must have the rear controls, there is a company that makes an adapter that will match any headunit up with the rear controls. Try www.go2pac.com and look around.

If you are just looking for better sound, you will be better off upgrading your speakers.
