From what I understand, the wiring will hook up with no mods. The only thing you will have to do is cut out some plastic inside the dash because the CD-6 is a little taller in the back of the radio than your stock unit. However, I have heard there are multiple models and some will not work because they are set up for a sub or something. There was another post just recently about this unit in this forum.

Not sure how it works. I had an '02 Explorer as a loaner with this radio and it sounded good. However, I never got a chance to try out the CD changer to see how it works. I am assuming you can pop out whatever CD you want, considering it only does one at a time anyways.

The Ford/Visteon CD-6 does do selective eject. You press the eject button and the unit asks you which CD you want to eject. Then you simply press the number for the CD you want to eject. Same thing for loading too.
Check eBay for CD-6's for sale. I got lucky and got mine for $199- when most are selling for $300-350 or so. For an F-150, make sure it is part number 1C3F-18C815-AB. Good luck!
