Stereo install kit....

I am looking for a dash kit for a 01 F150 XLT that will allow me to put my CD head unit and Kenwood 1" tall EQ in the stock oversize dash hole. Does anyone know where I can find one that will work? Or is this another GM only part. Thanks for any and all assistance. Currently my EQ is velcroed to the bottom of the dash and it does not look good

I called one of the local install shpos and asked for a mounting kit. I don't remember what kind it was, but it had a pocket above the opening for the deck. I cut the back off the pocket and slid my EQ into that spot. I really like how it looks. I'm sure that most any shop in your area should be able to get you what you want. Try these out:

Hope this helps,

I got this one at Circuit City. This one had a removable piece of plastic, about 1" high, where I installed the equalizer. I hope this is what you're looking for.

Metra has a kit for the F150, and like marked under something like 1997 & later FORD... something like that, it doesn't have a year, but there are 2 little ears that go under the vent screws (and screw on), to keep it from coming off... I know this is how mine is setup.
