I have a 2006 Ford F-150 King Ranch. I've upgraded to a Pioneer head unit and really love it. I'm also a ham radio enthusiast. I would LOVE to find a way to integrate a mobile rig into my F-150, especially in the most unused area of my panel: the ashtray. I never use this and would like to find a way to use that space.

I've carefully removed the ashtray assembly from the front area (there were two 7mm screws holding it in place... see the attached photos).

What I would like to find is some sort of radio trim kit that could go in this area. I'm not sure if something like that exists, so I was hoping to troll the wisdom of this forum. Any ideas?
