tuning help

I added an 2 amps. A 4 channel for dpeakers and 1 for sub. Its a 2010 with reg radio. I have a Mtx-req5. The problem I'm having is the req5 is shutting off, due to low volume from HU. I have All gains set to the middle position, including amps. Should I reduce the gains on req5 and up the gains on amps? I'm using auto sensing on req5, until I can get a remote installed. This may sound unclear but ask me for more info.
