2009 F150 Stereo wiring?
I will be wiring a "RE-Q bass enhancer" and i am curious if anyone knows where i can get a wiring diagram for the 2009 stock stereo. Otherwise i will be stuck cracking each door apart and looking at the speaker wire colors.
Any help with this is much appreciated.

Well not really. From reading this forum I believe you tap into the wires that go to the speakers where I told you and the colors are listed in the post above mine. Then you hook up the amps to the RE-Q via RCA's and then run the speaker wires from the amps to the other end of the speaker wires where you tapped in for the actual RE-Q. I will probably do the RE-Q but the RE-Q5 so I can do front and rear speakers plus a sub.

ok judging by looking at your pic and that of the metra harness from the other post the speaker wire codes i gave you appear to be related to the metra harness. your speaker wires are located in the larger of the 2 plugs. i cant see clearly amongst the 2 pics to tell you for certain which color would match up to what. i will try to look at a diagram at the shop tomorrow to see if i can decipher something for you on a factory harness.

So i did some poking around and i believe that the wire harness on the right is the one that holds all the speaker wires (as Papajohn has mentioned already). I confirmed this by somewhat tracing the two wires on the wireharness on the left the White/Orange and White/Purple to the front right door. I THINK?? So the wire configuration posted above is incorrect for the stock harness. So the current state of my truck is posted below.... until i can figure out the exact coloring to finish installing this RE-Q.

remote wire
Thanks for the explanations you saved me a hard time, I am installing a LOC80 and needed this diagrams, do you know which is the remote wire, i got my amp hooked up to a relay inside the fuse box under the hood, but I'd much rather have it plug in the radio it self, thanks in advance

Dimmer wire
Im trying to complete an install of a Pioneer SPH-DA120 stereo. It has a wire that I can attach so when the lights are on the stereo will go to a different brightness level. I need help knowing which wire from my 2009 F150 to hook up to the wire that controls this on that radio.
