Whooaa... I got a way to go to catch up. Just started with the Sony ES CDX-M770. What a difference it makes.

Now the question is what speakers for the doors? Everyone says that once they replaced the stock speakers their system sounded much better.

Do you guys run the same set of new speakers front and back? What's a good all around set for listening to a wide variety of music. What do you guys recommend for easy replacement of oem speakers without cutting or fabricating.

Keep the pictures coming!!!

into a Clarion DHP7500z DSP which in turn feeds a JL 300/4 going to clarion 6 1/2 seperates in each corner. Then to a 500/1 going to 2 kicker solo L7's

bishop,

I have the JL Audio XR series 5x7s. They sound great. As for the back, I have a regular cab so putting speakers in the rear location is a waste of money. The sub box pretty much butts right up against that location anyway. There really wasn't any reason to put speakers there, and my system sounds really nice.

Eclipse 3242 amplifier
Eclipse 2101 Eq/pre-amp

JL Audio 12W3 subwoofer

Cool

I thought I would try and post a pic on this topic. I say try because I am new to posting pics. The below attachment is my Pioneer FHP8800. It has 45x4 output, a built-in DSP, Auto EQ and many other little goodies. We had to do some mods in the pocket to get it to fit.
