Question Alpine CVA-1005

Hi there!
Just wondering, will the Alpine CVA-1005 Multimedia center (2 separate units, tuner and head unit) fit in the stock panel of the F-150 if stock radio is removed? Will it fit exactly, be needing some more space or need some spacers? I can't get any dimensional dat for the Alpine since it's not yet that popular here in our country. Thanks!

Yes, by all means it will fit. The second piece doesn't go in the dash with the headunit, it goes either in your console, or under your seat. I've got the 1005 & the Alpine DVD unit both in my dash of my Expedition. Check out my pics, for details on what it would look like:

I have the cva-1000 and it fits a normal din.
The 1005 is the same size. I do have to tell you that I had problems with my unit and its been almost two months and alpine is still working on it. I can live with it though.
I only paid 300.00! It was a demo. All in all, its a great unit with endless options.
