put some clear silicon in the crack and let that cure before you seal it up with fiberglass

Alex,
The specs (interior cubic inches) for a sealed Sub Box, depends on the size of the speaker. What size sub are you running in the system.
I don't understand why you guys are fiber glassing your enclosures. Of course it is going to crack. (especially if you put the resin over a existing "stress crack" that has been treated with a silicone bead) What are these enclosures made of that they need a glassed interior?
If the enclosure is constructed of a 3/4" thick "MDF" board product (and the seams are square and tight) a simple bead of caulk is more than enough. You can even get "MDF" board with a "Melamine" finish on one side (it's used for "thermo-foil" cabinet doors) which you'd turn to the inside giving it a almost backed porcelain layer over the already extremely dense "MDF" material.
The glue used to carpet the exterior of the enclosure you asked about, is a standard "Contact Adhesive" which can be softened (and reactivated) with heat, or standard "Lacquer Thinner" and a putty knife will remove it fairly easy as well. If your going to re-carpet the enclosure however, just leave it on. The "Contact Adhesive" you use for the re-carpet job, will also reactivate the old, and bond well with it.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Zapp

By woofers (plural) I take it this enclosure contains (2) 10" speakers. Single cone, dual cone, as well as cone material, and thickness, will cause the requirements to vary slightly. But, on an average in a sealed sub enclosure housing a pair of 10" subs your looking at between 3,456 and 4,320 cubic inches or 2 to 2.5 cubic feet of interior chamber. (if you have the room go for the higher end)
Something in the way you say "cracked along the seams on that corner" makes it sound like there may be more than just subs in this enclosure?

yeah 2 ten inch woofers dual voice coil cone material dont know. well i fiberglassed the inside and out and theres no air leaking that i can feel or hear now but i still dont like it. what do you mean there might be more than subs in the enclosure? jaja well im thinking the woofer cracked it open. i checked the memphis website and says for two subs sealed 1.30 / 1.60 minimal/optional and also says for 1 sub sealed 0.65 / 0.85 min/opt. i guess the second one is right since my box will have a divider correct?

well i think this box is cr@p. i found another leak on the same woofer ( the one where the jack is) im thinking the gap for the seat make it weaker than the other side cause that one is sealed and sound very clean. check out the pic im sealing it up again.

i emailed rcbenclosures.com they build custom boxes, they recommended me on realofexcursion forum. so i emailed them the measurements and depending on price im going to either buy the plans or the box from them. im waiting for the design he replied and told me he was goign to start doing it on autocad so lets see what he comes up with.

IT worked!! i think it even sounds better than before i removed some parts of the carpet and siliconed the crap out of it as you can see in the top pic, then i sealed it off with resin. its sounds alot louder than before im thinking the box was like this for awhile just couldnt tell because of the fuzzy carpet. i put the box in last night and played it for awhile then this morning inspected it again. seams like everythign is sealed but i need to take it out and remove the rest of the carpet and see what to cover it with thinking line-x or vinyl???
