Aux-in help

Hey guys. I have a (now discontinued) Sony CDX-M630 cd player HU with a morotized fold-down face. Well I recently got it fixed after a year-old ribbon cable problem and now that I have a MP3 player, I wanted to hook it up. So I bought a 3.5mm jack aux-in cable and plugged it into the back of the reciever. But get this, when I switch over to Aux-In, and plug in the 3.5mm jack into my Zune, the radio beeps and does random things. Sometimes I'll swithc over to radio, sometimes it'll go into ATT mode and blocks out all commands until I unplug it. I need help and my HIDs make the use of the FM x-mitter unusable. Any ideas? Thanks!

Don't know if it applies at all but I have factory 2007 head unit and plug my Zune into aux jack and when the Zune reboots on it's own about every minute. Does not seem to effect the head unit.
