did a little deadening today (pics)

well im sick of everythign rattling so i decided to start deadening my truck little by little. i did the floor part of the rear (supercab) thought id share some pics. im deadening the back wall next and cleaning up my install. any ideas would be great more pic in my gallery of amps and stuff.

the iva-d310 "brain" the alpine xm reciever and the alpine video switcher. i also got the alpine ipod connection but its up front.

#1 thing needs to be - wire management. Power wire ziptied to RCA's and Spk wire isnt a good idea...

If ported, always tune to CRF 33Hz... aka the Golden Number

you know, i should know better than that thanks for pointing that out. im going to re think my install.

and i got a question for you low_e_red i have my amps grounded right below them to the sheet metal. shoud i ground them to the chassis? im experiencing a hiss in my components what can i do to fix it? no enging whine just a hiss. like when i change the song and before the song starts. thanks for the help

with out the brain the headunit will not function. it also has all the audio and video rca outputs and inputs.

Really all depends on the hiss. It could be the amps, could be the CD spinnin, brake wire interference, illum interference, etc.

Very nice. But the ground location and random dynamat is shoddy. Reground that elsewhere.

Audio issues aside, did the mod live up to your expectations? Could you elaborate on the benefits of the dyamat vs. the expense/trouble of installing from the view point of those who may want to do something similar but do not have a need to do additional mods, such as upgrading the audio or re-wiring.

Wow!! Holy Spaghetti Noodle Batman

You've got the main power and cap,next to a brain and a crossover
All that extra wiring is shure to get you some induced noise.My guess is how are your gains set?
Straight hiss usually is a sign of to much gain somewhere although with that wiring it could be alot of things?
