Modifying Stock Radio

I have a 99 f150 with the original am fm casett radio and with to install an auxilary input for a mp3 player. Back in the day we used to just tap on the the middle condutor to ground on the volume control. Is it possible to do this with this radio that I have now? I though I would ask all you guys before plowing into this since I dont have a schematic for the unit.

Either a cassette adaptor or an FM adaptor that goes inline with your antena as opposed to an FM broadcaster.

yes there are FM transmitters, and FM convertors (i think thats the name)

first is wireless, second is wired. thats the a common way to do it.
