Any tips?

Hey guys, I have an 04 F150 FX4, and am getting a stereo installed this weekend (2 amps, headunit, 2 10 inch subs and 4 new speakers) and was just wondering if anybody had any comments on mounting the amps, running cables, sound proofing... a buddy has recently opened an audio company and i thought i would give him as much information as i could for my truck.. hah not that i dont trust him or anything.. anything helps! thanks alot

run the rca cables and power, ground and REM on opposite sides of the truck, place amps behind or under seat and sound proofing the floor is pretty common

just make sure your amps have enough room to "breathe" they will get pretty damn hot and could overheat if they dont get enought air

dynamat is good stuff for sound proofing, but its kinda expensive
there are other brands out there
