OEM DVD Install

I want to hook up a DVD player in my 2007 Expy. I see that several people are selling OEM overhead DVD players on EBAy but I am not sure if the install is something I want to tackle. I haven't found an aftermarket player I like and I am hooked on the OEM overhead set up. Will I be wasting my money on EBay or is it something I can install in my garage? I also saw one seller mention reprograming? Any help would be appreciated!

2007 Expy E/B factory 6 cd player w/sub. No sunroof.

were you able to find out if it would work? i was thinking of doing the same thing. thanks

I've researched many and many of times. I've been told that its not capable, I've been told that it would be tedious with an aftermarket radio, etc etc. So I went aftermarket with the best screen available. Everyone that see's this screen thinks it HD. Check out my write up
