ipod touch vids on w205

so can you play vids on the w205 from a ipot touch with the kce-415i interface? i know it works for the ipod videos but not sure about the touch, i had my w200 stolen and my ipod vid so im upgrading to the w205 and already got the touch but am worried it wont play my videos

dont know any reason why it wouldnt as long as the connector is the same. The ability to play the videos was originally restricted by the ipod connection cables the manufacturers were using, the first series were only designed to transfer music, not designed to accomadate the higher levels of date transfer for the video nor the speed required to show full speed video frames.

As far as I know the touch uses the same dock connection as the video and all previous ipods equipped with the dock connection so it should hook up with no problems whatsoever.

yeah the ipod interface i was using was for video but was made before the touch, but i guess only way to find out is call alpine in the morning....they are hard to get ahold of

How do you like the iTouch, by the way? I got an 8gb V2 about a month ago, it's incredible!

i love it, im guessing v2 means it has the iphone web apps on it, then in that case so did i which confused me when people were jail breaking thier touches, funny thing is i was showing it to my gf showing her all the things it does then afterwards i remember o yeah it also plays music :LOL: im going to be using this more for the internet then music

Yep, the V2 has all the iPhone apps.

If you use MSN or AIM (or Yahoo for that matter) instant messenger go to www.ebuddy.com they have a mobile version of it. Use your regular login and you can talk to friends Turn it sideways when using ebuddy or the internet, much easier to use. Another trick that I didn't know about until somebody told me was if you push the home button twice when listening to music (on your home screen, or even when on hold) a little window pops up that allows you to pause, play, change songs and change volume when you're listening to music. Much easier...
