Is this still the quik-fix for this problem or is there a different interface available ? Thanks.
Billboy,
I may still have mine in the basement somewhere. I took it out before I sold my truck. Give me a few days to check.

I received the unit and installed it but the radio still says "no aux audio". I got 12 volts from the harness that goes into the radio. Green/Orange wire. Any ideas ??

I found the problem. I only used a test light at first to try and find a hot wire to tie to for the 12 volts. The green/orange wire had enough voltage to light the test light but it was only 5 volts. I moved over to the C-lighter and got a full 12 volts and now all is good.
