I guess in today's world, LED is the way to go.

As we revisit this topic.......

I have switched over every lamp in the truck to LED. The headlights have daylight color 5000 kelvin for low beam, and the high beam is amber. The foglights can be switched between daylight and amber. I also have an LED light bar which illuminates in daylight and amber.

I can light up the night in white. Or color everything amber in snow, rain, or dust storms.

Be sure to keep in mind that you can buy and install all kinds of lighting, but it may not be legal for you to turn all those lights on, on a public road.

LED lighting has certainly changed the game. It is now so inexpensive, that you can bolt on and wire a giant light bar, which illuminates way more than you need. Then go overboard with too much lighting.
