More Low End Power

I have a 97 f150 xlt 5.4l v8 with the 3.55 limited slip gears. what can i do to gain more low end power? Im building a prerunner out of it and could use some inexpensive low end torque. I already have long tube headers w/ true dual high flow cats and flowmaster super 40s and intake. im leaning away from chips and tuning

Efan and UDPs... Along with intake and custom tunes...

Changing your gears to say 4.10s would have a more noticable effect on low end performance.

i agree with the tune and new gears. while you're in the diffs i'd upgrade the rear to a tru-trac or full selectable locker.

GEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! probably 4.10's or 4.56's depending on tire size

why are you afraid of the tuning????, an off orad tune would help you out a bit also

VMP tuning is $400 with the xcal.
PHP is around $450 i think, but you get a screen.

dont go with an edge, superchips, diablo, etc. custom tuning is a completely different category of tuning and 100x's better.

a way to keep it cheaper buy a used xcal (can pick them up for around $150-$170, then spend the $50 on 1 tune so your only in $220ish bucks at that point, and the improvement will be incredible.

the tune will be written for any mods you have to help maximize all possible gains.
