E-Fans and dimming headlights

Hey guys, question for those with e-fans. I noticed on mine, (just installed this Saturday) that when the fans kicked on either due to the a/c or when the coolant temp hit the point for them to kick on, my headlights will dim pretty good for that brief second or two. They dim down a lot and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a fix for it. My wifes 06 buick has em from the factory and though they dim a bit at initial kick on, its nothing like what my truck is doing. Maybe battery or alt. going south? My battery and alt are still oem (05') and I have not had any problems with them so far.
I would say the dimming effect would be maybe 50% less of normal brightness, almost like I was flasing someone with the high beams.
Thanks

Something aint right, no way you should see even a little dimming really. I run the FAL-270 kit, with the soft start controller to help this but it likely is a poorly charged battery. It sounds like it's dying. My truck hasn't had issues this way but my car does when it has a low charge. Have the alternator checked too, the 2 die usually one after another. Does the truck run funny and ration powered items? If not, then it should only be the battery.

My kit from FF Dynamics has it set to where both fans kick on at the same time, whether it be due to ac or coolant temp hitting the turn on point, not sure if that makes a difference since both kick in at the same time. I have not noticed any other issues with power rationing or running funny, but I will have the battery checked out sometime this week. Thanks

If they are kicking on at the same time , that is a BIG draw on your electrical system. Try get them to come on seqentially and it won't be so hard on your battery and alternator.
