Pioneer AVIC, USB, and Vehicle Health Report 2009

I have a 2009 F-150. Beautiful. I had an AVIC-F7010BT navigation system removed from another vehicle and installed into the new 2009 rig. (It had been placed after market into a 2008 F-150......long boring story). Some questions:

1) In the glove box, today, I discovered a USB cable. Any idea where that is coming from? Would this be what is used to connect my iPod once the proper cable arrives from Pioneer?

2) Vehicle Health Report was available when my Blackberry was connected to the radio via SYNC. Since the dealer removed the original radio system and installed my Pioneer system, I knew that SYNC would not work entirely (although so far it is not bad, even the buttons on the steering wheel will work okay after they make some final adjustments). The Pioneer system is voice controlled and the Blackberry connects fine, but I cannot figure out how to get a Vehicle Health Report to queue. It sure seems like this would be something that has a solution as Ford obviously modeled lots of the new 2009 and, now, 2010 features off of Pioneer systems that were in 2008 and 2009 models.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Thomas
