I got my viair compressor from hornblasters.com along with the 5 gallon stainless steel tank. The tank has 4 ports on it. One for the pressure switch, one for compressor, one for horns, and the last for air hose accessories.
Ya found a 5 gallon tank for 60. What size compressor for this beast and also what type of line should I use? My shop has a ton of heater hose that I can use that's 1/2 inch and or bigger. Could that be used and also thinking of adding a nipple on the last port so I can fill it at the shop if I don't feel like kicking the compressor on.

I have a 380cc viar 200psi compressor, with a 5 gallon tank. If I was you I would run a 1/2 line, you can probably use that tubing, just make sure whatever psi you are running, that the tubing is high psi rated, meaning if your running 200 psi, you want tubing that is rated 200 psi or you can higher, if you dont do that you will be busting tubes all day. HAHA that dont sound right.

I just got off the phone with the company that sells these and told them what I was looking for. He said he has only ever received complaints on these if guys were expecting the big train horn sound from a $350+ system. He really eased my fears about this stating that it is a pretty decent low tone and loud - especially for the cost and he has sold hundreds of them. I feel that he was pretty honest as he sells the full systems too. So, he could of tried to talk me up to a system but he didn't. I ended up ordering one directly from them and they gave me a price break as well. I will report back when it is installed.
Look on the bright side we extended your choices lol. Wanna hear what the kit you chose sounds like. Think I'm just going to go with the go big or go home setup. And hopefully I don't blow a tube ior

HAHA 10/4 man, if you have any questions just let me know. I just bought some stuff today, I'm gonna use my extra port and run a line from the tank to the inside of the truck and mount me a gauge in the dash or something.

Been there done that... LEAK CITY! Best gauge I have gotten so far has been the Air Zenith digital. No running air lines, just two simple wires and your done. You should check um out

So what do you hook the wires up?

Installed it today and I am pretty happy with it. Sure, it is not nearly as loud as a train horn set up but it sounds better than the OEM horn. In fact, it is about the same loudness as the OEM horn, just in an air horn sound instead of the high pitch crappy horn sound. Hey, for $50, I can't complain.
It has a pressure sending unit you put on one port of your tank, connect the two wires (Pos. and ground) and run the positive back up to the gauge, and just find a place at the back of the truck (or wherever) for the ground. The gauge wire harness taps into power/acc/ and the pos. from the sending unit and that is it.
