you just switched out compressor ? or was this before the new compressor that you could get that many honks ?
well i dont got a compressor yet. right now i just got a 5 gallon air tank in the bed. if i honk for about 3 seconds, i can get about 10-15, 3 second honks... once the tank is empty, i dont use it for a while cause i dont fill it up agnain...becomes a pain after a while...that why i want to throw in a compressor...
thats your best bet, get the whole kit...easier and less of a headache.. the horn i only paid i think $125... im not to sure..thats why i bought it seperate and threw something together with the tank and all...
got a question for ya, the pic in your sig, you got the foglights behind your grill, right?
Thanks antz and ior. Sry if I hijacked op. Ior can I swap compressors on the future and also got any sound clips? The guy I talked to on the phone the other morn said he has sold 1000s of those and compliants are far and few between
No, if you get that tank and compressor, in the future your gonna have to get a new tank and compressor, cause if you look at the tank there trying to sell ya, its a 2 in 1 meaning they already have it hooked up and you only have looks like 2 ports, I'm telling you man I bought one of them my first time around and it was a waste of money. When you honk your only gonna get 1 good honk with that small of a tank, so that means the compressor is gonna have to keep filling it back up, and its not a heavy duty compressor, so it will break in no time. I had my on for about 2 weeks before my compressor went out.

Here is my set up, horns right up front. 3 1/2 gal tank, viar 380c compresser. Everything is set up for 200psi but I ended up with a 140 switch. Wired the compresser up to my power from the trailer lead under the truck, only comes on with the key, got a rocker in truck to from stock horns to both stock and air using the steering wheel. Best part is I can honk them with the remote
You can just see them under the push bar.
