My dads truck has the bedrug and he doesnt have any cap or cover on his bed and the rug is great

I'll go against the grain here. I recommend a cover for Bedrug for a few reasons.

While most liquids will wash out of it, stuff like grass, leaves, twigs and such tend to get caught in the knap. A weathered Bedrug tends to sag a bit. It only comes in gray, which MAY not look so hot in your truck.

We installed a Bedrug and an Extang Revolution in this Dodge a couple of weeks ago.

It comes in two pieces, just zip it together.


Attach the Velcro opposing strips.


Just showing you the bottom.


Start in the front and work your way to the rear.


Done.
