wow dude, you are going to give us more info than that..

what truck do you have? info? fill out your profile...we need trim package, engine, year, etc.

and what is this auto headlight kit? are you talking about DRLs? it would help if you gave us some references, no one is going to remember that number off the top of their head...

and again....theres a nice "search" feature for newbs. welcome to the site.

he's obviously talking about the auto headlamp feature. meaning, it gets dark, headlights come on.

other than that i have no idea.

Quick look at one of the many online parts places shows what that PN is, real quick.

This is the DRL kit ( or DRL control module, depending on the MY ), not the auto light kit.

Might want to make sure you have the correct description or the correct part number.

And the answer of search for it, is not the answer one should expect being new to the site, so don't take that to be the standard answer from members here.

I have installed f8az13b218aa into a 2001 F250 a few years ago. It was difficult without a service manual. You have to locate specific wires and splice into them.

That sounds pretty cool. Did it live up to your expectations?

i thought it was more or less simply a diode spliced into the headlight harness.

This was not a simple install without a service manual, but there is an online assistance.

I never touch my headlight switch anymore, it's great!
