It looks nice- really nice compared to where mine used to sit-

But how much light output are those tiny things putting out? Can you even see them at night? I've upgraded mine to 100W H3-ST Sylvania bulbs and I still cant see anything at night with them. I use mine as behind-the-grille DRLs.

personally i do not like it - the mounting location nor the shape of the lights. I have bluejay's lights , but they are that blue tinted color that yours are and i have them mounted like bluejay but a tad closer to the license plate

I give the op some much diserved credit for taking a chance and doing a mod that nobody else has.

I grow sick of people posting...

"can i see a pic of a white 03 sc with black trim, 2.5" level, 33" bfg and 18" black wheels? I dont know if I'll like how it looks"

He's sharing his results, and contributing to the site. thats why these forums are so valuable...

so lets not heckle the man for not being a complete sheep

Thanks Shortbox

Well last year, I posted photoshopped pics of what mods I was going to do, then for the most part i folowed through with them. But a photoshop doesnt always look the same as the real thing LOL

I apreciate EVERYONE's input I know "to each his own" on opinions and likes. I love the position because to me they look more like a factory item then say in the bumper opening especailly when your using that space for either a ram air type intake or a wench setup. and yes i want a bull bar someday, but I'm kinda partial to not having it or not having anything mounted to it.. so this seemed like a worth while attempt even if it was going to be temporary.

Not trying to step on toes or get flamed (yes I'm intentionally putting a pun here, lets see how many catch it LOL) I have owned 43 Fiero's, half were turned into kitcars or one off modifications with hand made fiberglass body panels. I've also modded a 1984 Toyota Celica Supra GT to a 9 sec. show car. I'm getting ready to convert my 95 Pathfinder into a full ragtop setup.

The SCrew is my first ever, Brand new vehicle.. So sure I was a little worried bout hacking on it, but.. I can't stand a factory stock vehicle.. I get annoyed seeing "my truck" drive by on the street or in a parking lot. I have to do something different.. the tail lights or an example of the mods gone wrong.. I bought some black euros from ebay, which are now sitting on a shelf in my garage untill I can post them for sale.. In the end, I ended up taping off the portions of my stock tailights that I wanted to keep visible, sprayed adhesion promoter and then blacked them out and then pulled the tape and cleared them. I love the look now.

I can't afford all the mods I want, heck i can't even save up for them half the time, because I'm married with 4 kids and now I'm not making the $$ I used to. But I still piss off my wife by suprising her with new mods to the family hauler HAHAHAH

But this is a forum, and as such everytime I post I expect good and bad replies. So I don't get upset by people telling me it looks like crap or they love it. Of course I'd rather people saying the hate it, to leave it at that and not go into the whole "well you should have done this because..." But hey I'm used to it. I've been on 3 other forums for other cars since 1998 and I know all about the way forums work.

So thanks to EVERYONE for your comments, both the yay's and the nay's

And I'm bout to go get the truck washed so look for a new thread in the SuperCrews where I'll post new pics.

Blue Jay,
I like the looks of your added lights. I am looking to do the same thing. Did you existing holes, drill new or how did you attach? Any pictures?
Thanks for any help.
