E-fan tip

I've noticed that one of the biggest complaints about an e-fan install is shroud removal. If you drain the radiator down to just below the top hose level and remove the top radiator hose from the rad and bend it back out of the way, you can lift the shroud and fan straight up and out. It will help prevent marring the fins or worse, dropping the fan and really messing up your radiator.

my shroud came out without a hitch. my tip is to have another pair of hands there and remove the fan and shroud at the same time
