I wouldn’t think that the fans would void any type of warranty. You are taking a load off the motor, so you would be helping it last longer. You can give Troyer a call and ask them about it.

any modification to a vehicle that has caused damage will void the warranty of all effected parts. for instance, you install the efans on your truck... they stop working.... the truck overheats and causes catastrophic engine failure (i.e seized motor, blown head gasket, etc....) any problem that can be traced back to that modification CAN be grounds for warranty problems. it also depends heavily on your dealership.

check out the magnuson-moss warranty act.

Those fans do not have the adjustable controllers that the Troyer kit has. Nor do they have the mounting kit that comes with the Troyer kit. You will need a mounting kit. So add another 150.00 to the $254 cost of the fans. Not quite the deal that you thought that it was.

Yeah when you call just say you want to get in on the group buy on f150online.com and she'll ask for your username. Super easy.

you can get the adjustable controlers for $35 and they will do 2 fans. and why do you need a mounting kit just use the plastic keepers that came with the fans or buy the little keepers there only around 10 bucks. so thats 35 + 10+ 127+127= 299and shipping.

I would not use one controller to run two fans. The Troyer kit uses two controllers and has a custom mounting kit. Apples to apples. For that matter you can get a Fan out of a Lincoln for less than $100.00 but it isn't the Troyer kit. This thread is about a Troyer Kit. I tell you what. You put together your kit, test it and write up the install instructions and post a price and sit back and wait for the orders to come it.
