Well I kinda wanted to do something different with the badge (don't worry I still have the Saleen one you sent) I want to make an FX4 badge to put in its place.....working with PatriotDecals to do it. I dunno - maybe it would look ok I won't know till I get it on. GOing to get prob 4 diff color schemes, see which ones work.

dude tell me about it. As soon as I saw this one 3 months ago I was hooked. Only prob is where the hell do you get one? I called Saleen direct, etc. Then a guy had one and then DIDN'T have one on eBay. I basically searched on Saleen Grilles in the forum and lurked around to see if anyone had one to sell; then you have to be ready to POUNCE.....which is exactly what happened when Stonegreen1 posted his (thanks man ) and I got all over it. There was another guy interested but iffy on the price. Dude when you really want something, be ready to pay the asking price or it's GONE. Knowhutimean?

Ive been checking on here and ebay constantly hoping one pops up somewhere. Im wanting to get some harley headlights and black tail lights but waiting till I can find one of these grilles. Ive got the harley grill right now but want to do the complete blackout all at once. Im to the point now where I would over pay for one.

i emailed a guy at Saleen last week about getting the Saleen leather interior for my truck, so i also asked him about the grill because i knew so many people on here were looking for one.

this is his quote for the email:

"DJ,

Sorry, but the seat covers for the F-150 is a service only part due to limited stock, the same for the grill. "

i guess they sold out of all of the extras... im glad i picked mine up the day Saleen made them available to purchase..

sorry fellas...

I was afraid of that, I wonder if that will change in the future. There is always my second choice, the cragar grille but I cant ever get any response from them.

I stumbled apon a Cragar grill but I prefer the Saleen. If I could find a decent deal I would buy the Saleen and sell the Cragar.

I called and spoke with them a few times. They have a stock, but it is limited. What it boiled down to is they only have them available for Saleen owners needing repair for now. They would not have any available for us commoners until the end of spring.

If you dont mind paying mark up or have a buddy at a body/ford shop have them order it as a "repair" order.

This is probably the only grille I'd go with....looks great on a black truck.

Pretty hard to come by....so if you find one, jump on it. You'll probably pay a good chunk of coin for it, but IMO it's the best looking grille out there.
