I have a 2001 f-150 xlt Flareside 4x4, I love the truck except for one flaw, the bed tapers about 2 inches at the back. I recently picked up a Weather Guard Weekender ladder rack which mounts on the inside of the side rails and floor of the bed. I was attempting to install it and realized that the two racks do not line up, has anyone sucessfully put this rack in a Flareside? If so is there a different mounting kit? The reason that I chose this type of rack is that the mounting hardware sits under the soft tonneau cover when not in use, which keeps the clean look of an occasional work truck. Thanks in advance!
