Well, the story behind the story is that I went back to Hungry Valley OHV Area in Gorman, CA to spend the last days of 2011 and celebrated the new year 2012.
But on Friday Dec. 30/11 I hit a big rock at about 5 mph there after I tried to steer one way but the truck wanted to go the other way. Got off the truck and saw what you see on the picture down below.
I Called the shop, Off Road Evolution, and described the part to Mel, owner and operator, and he immediately removed the one off of his truck and gave it to one of my workers who brought it to me 4 hours later.
While I waited, I removed the rest of the broken part.

and back to camp for a nice hot tea and a chocolate muffin.

but seriosly OG your truck is amazing, always some good reading whenever you change sommething. Is that peice that broke an aftermarket peice for those axels? looks to me like a relocation bracket for that tierod, like a highsteer type of kit.

It's dynatrac's tierod end, came include with the axles:
