Hey Jesse, haven't seen you around here for quite some time now. If I can ever get down to Florida I'll look you up. Though I do live not all that far away from your old place now, well closer than I used to back in Iowa.

I'm still gonna disagree with you on the flexing part. Leaves still suck

Where are you now? Not with Deere anymore?

I'll be back up in Chesapeake on the 30th for the weekend. If you are close enough you should grab a beer with me and Brent (apbt something, you know him). Shoot me you number if it's do-able.

Nope, I left Deere almost 6 years ago now. I work for the good guys now (Case IH). I'm up in Lancaster, PA now so a weekend trip isn't out of the question sometime. Though come Monday (if I can get my combine built and get a truck here) I'm heading back to Iowa with it for some testing.

Sometime I need to get both the Juggy and the Ranger fixed up and you need to make a trip up here for some real wheeling at Rausch Creek If you've seen any of the pics on pirate of it, its even more fun in person.

Feel free to take the combine down to VA and do some testing down there, just in time for picking beans. I hear recently they backed our 9860sts down into a ditch destroying the straw chopper

Once i completely eliminate daily driving from the truck's duties, put it on rockwells, 4 wheel steer, and 54"s, consider me there.

Its just a John Deere so its not much of a loss, lol. How much do they get for the green painted parts? Hopefully they didn't have the Powercast spread board on it. Those are $$$$.

I might have to make some other plans to find some place else to go. The whole midwest is just one big rain storm anymore

So you're saying I need to keep an eye out for the rockwell build thread. Your truck would handle RC the way it is now, just might modify the body a little bit

About $10,000 in damage. Could have been worse though obviously.

Head down there, I hear the beans are doing really good. Put that thing to the test; you know itll be at its limits

Well, the body is getting modified either way. It has to, the 54"s will be going on in the next week or so; the rocks are down the road.

$10k, thats not too bad if that includes the chopper itself. I wouldn't want to go down there, might embarass the green dealer I just couldn't believe how hard it is to work on some of Deeres systems compared to ours, but thats a whole other story.

I don't remember, but are you an Advanced Adapters dealer? I need a 4spd Atlas in the worst way. My Stak sucks, and so far I can't get it to quit puking oil I should probably PM you my info over on Pirate and quit hijacking this thread lol.

Ok then, I'll hijack this into a world where you couldn't find the thread with a flashlight, a map, and a wife yelling directions at you, lol.

Yeah, I'm not impressed with the Stak in the least. I've got a loud gear chatter coming from somewhere in the area of the tcase or the rear axle. When I'm getting on it it doesn't make any noise, except for the loud gear whine, but when I let off and I'm in compression braking I get it. It won't do it with just the front engaged. Its also blowing gear oil from somewhere that I can't pin down yet (I need to cut out the floor so I can keep an eye on it). I'm starting to think that its the top part of the case separating towards the front end and letting oil leak by. I don't think its the breather since the area above it is wet too. From what I found out the case separating issue would happen if the rear of the case was not supported, but mine is.

I also need a 4spd, the 2spd monster box I have isn't cutting it. Part of the problem is that the C6 only has, or had since I kind of blew it up, 1st gear. The 4.3:1 is just too deep for normal trail riding, and the 1:1 isn't deep enough for crawling. I need something in between the 2. If I could get the gear chatter and the oil leak figured out I'd probably just get a NWFab Black Box to go in front of it, though I'd never use the 9:1. The 5.4:1 4spd Atlas has a better gear range set for what I need.

Since I missed this earlier. I knew Jesse from way back in the day on F150world. That was back in 01 or 02 when the green F150 was still stock.

Of course, I try to be as versatile as possible so thy I don't have to be a salesman. I'll See what I can do on a price on a 4 speed Atlas tomorrow.

I also hear that no woman can resist him. Sounds like a winner to me!
