wheeling or mudding in nc

hey guys not lived here in nc long live in mt holly now looking for some places to take my son out to some area where people go wheeling or mudding what ever you guys call it down here see alot if muddy trucks butt never see trails love to get some info thanks

Hey, welcome. I live in Gastonia and I have been looking and havent found much. EVERYbody owns the land around here and they dont open it up to just anyone. I know a couple places, mostly right-of-ways. They're "illegal" but only if you're caught.



BTW, I work in tank town and I am through Mt. Holly. all the time!

Then they're illegal. Don't go, it just gives more ammunition to those who want to see all forms of OHV travel eliminated.

Instead join some local clubs, they'll know where it's ok to wheel

Have you guys tried Brown Mountain off road park? Its in my county. I know we rode quads/bikes up there and I have taken a many a 4x4's up there. And I think they have teleco locked up tighter than ****s hat band if im not mistaken, no one is rolling there anymore.

im from eastern NC, there is tons of places to go, here in TX its hard to find any "legal" places to go

When I was stationed in Jacksonville, I remember a place in Huber (I think that was the town). Actually you know what that may have been a mud track only. I can't remember sorry Im not much help I guess.
