Did some light offroading

There isn't hardly any places in town to go. I am gonna head out one day to the country and look for some nice spots. The place I usually go used to have a road that split into 2, one side had a huge water spot, while the other was a decent road. They paved it to make one road. Kinda made me mad, but o well. Theres dirtbike/4 wheeler hills up there, and there's sometimes people there when i go offroading.. they get pissed even though the road is a good distance from where they are..

Can't wait to get my lift and tires, will be way more fun then

Going to get a 3" body lift for now, suspension lift later on, 33" tires probably.

Has the 302, might swap it someday not quite sure yet

rough country makes a 6" kit with 4 shocks and a dropped pitman arm for under $500! and then you could run 35's

Yeah, I plan on getting rid of the flares and adding chrome running bars. Also thinking of replacing the rollerback with a chrome rollbar

That will come in the near future, since I pay bills and am limited with cash at times

i would stay away from the rough country kits, especially the ones without the extended radius arms, look for a kit that at least has the radius arms, my BDS 4" lift came with shocks, the drop pitman arm, extended brake lines and the extended radius arms all for 900 bucks off ebay these kits will last the lifetime of the truck.

It's great that you're getting out and having a good time.

I would like to encourage you however to read up on responsible wheeling though. Our sport is under heavy attack from environmentalists all over the country. If you find a place to wheel, ask the owner if it's ok. By making people mad you potentially create an enemy to our trails and sport.

Now that that's over I had a buddy with a similar truck. It did really well, especially with his lift and tires. He ended up cutting his fenders out abit, put new flares on and ran 33"s stock, and it looked great. Your tupperware will probably meet a pretty nasty death on any decent break over. As far as kits go..rough country is pretty weak from what I've seen (at least in the explorer world). I haven't had any experience with BDS but I have heard from many that it's good stuff. You will definitively want extended RA's.
