Now im ready to go muddin

I went muddin a few months ago and got stuck and ended up having to sleep in the woods cause i couldnt get hold of my buddy to come pull me out till the next morning.
Here are some pics of that. Wasnt sure if i posted them before.

Well after that night i decided i wasnt goin mudding by myself again till i got a winch. Well i finally ordered a winch today. Should be here in about a week. Here it is.

Rule #1 of Boonie Bustin -- Never go out alone. I've broken that rule a few times...luckily nothing that bad ever happened. Worst was being lost in a national forest at night for 2 hours on a 4 wheeler. Oops

What size is the winch?

And I would make sure the winch works with the brushguard.

pn 34701

i think it'll definately be visible with a 3"body lift.

you may be more interested in using a universal one, or making your own brackets to push the winch up higher to stay tucked up, also would benefit approach angles if you did that

also, the same kit worked on my brothers 89 ranger. just flip the brackets and drill a new hole.

I got their extreme Grill Guard to mount it on.

It is a Mile Marker 12,000 lbs winch. Little over kill but id rather have to much then not enough. The Grillguard is also made by Mile Marker for that winch so it will work. And it is rated to handle a 12000 lbs winch.
