Went out to the Lakeland mud hole last night and thought I needed to get my truck dirty. Had a LOT of fun and nothing broke, so I was good. I didn't get stuck and did pull out another ford and a Chevy 2500 lifted. Someone got video, but I haven't talked to them about getting it to me yet. Here are some pics of the night!
guess who is changing diff fluid soon!!!!!! YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

DIdn't even think about that. How much should that run me? I had a GREAT time though and am doing it again in 2 weeks. Maybe I'll have the fluids changed after that. Now I just need to get my engine hosed out and the undercarriage cleaned.

Mud noob here but why change the fluid? Isn't it sealed?
yes and no. Diff has a vent on it, even then it isn't a perfect water tight seal. Trust me you do that to a truck, your diff fluid will be milky when you change it. I speak from experience.

Its absolutely amazing what some fine grained sand can do once you get it in your diff nad leave it there too long!
