offroading advice

Hey I was just saw the thread about using the parking brake to assist with the LSD and was just thinking that we could probably use a thread of an accumulation of offroading knowledge. Im thinking that it could be good for both new and old drivers since we can always learn something new. So if any of you've got any advice for a way to improve all of our offroad performance then please at least let me know and post it up. Also im thinking of more of things to do before or while were 4 wheeling then upgrades we could do to our trucks.
