acm8075, what lift and tires are you running on that black f150? its hard to tell from the pic and video...
I have 3" of lift using a re-indexed torsion bar key in the front, and a Pro-comp AAL in the rear.

Soft sand can be a biatch, my front tire sank quick and raised the rear off of the ground so I had no traction... I wasn't even close to stuck in the last pic I just thought it was a cool offroad pic.

do you have any normal pics of your truck where we can see the wheel and tire combo really well and the truck's stance...? and have you noticed any CV axle damage in the front from those reindexed torsion bar keys?
I was too pissed off to take a picture at the time, but last winter, when I still had my 2wd 5spd, I had the great idea to use the truck to yank a double snowmobile trailer(with one wrecked one on it) through a snowbank the plow had made. I was too lazy to dig out the whole trailer, so I just dug out the hitch and hooked it up. The driveway had about 2" of snow over about 6" of ice, on a gravel driveway. A one-leg axle+2wd doesn't end well pulling a 1000lb trailer uphill through a snowbank on ice. In fact, it never even started. In backing up to the trailer, the truck just slid down the very slight incline and put a nice large dent in the license plate where it smacked the receiver. After lots of shoveling, cramming anything I could find under the tires, and an entire 25lb bag of ice melt pellets, and about 3hrs, the truck got free and the trailer was shoved even further back. All the tire spinning and ice melter had revealed a good portion of gravel right in front of the trailer. I figured I had already spent 3hrs trying to get the trailer out, I sure as hell wasn't going to quit now. Shoveled out an angular approach to the trailer, hooked up with both rear wheels on pavement, stuck the truck in 1st, floored it, and dropped the clutch (little frustration behind that). Remember the speedo was at nearly 30mph in first gear, the 300 I-6 was pushing 4500(sounded like it was about to blow). Anyway, miraculously the truck got enough speed(if 2mph is speed) going before the trailer hit the snowbank that it busted through it, leaving an enormous pile of snow, and one peelout mark 6" deep in the road. The trailer didn't have enough clearance, so the axle was dragging on the ground since one wheel fell into the rut, but somehow the truck kept moving, speedo showing 30 and going maybe .1mph, but I was moving.
It looked like a car had recently detonated where this had taken place. Black snow(from exhaust) was everywhere, espically where I had floored it and finally yanked the trailer free, that motor was really screaming. Gravel absolutely everywhere. Road practically destroyed from ruts, and there was no gravel left, it had been flung everywhere else.
Just took these pics. I haven't had any problems with my CV axles. I've had the torsion lift for about 10,000 miles. I did just have a boot tear, but I attribute it to having 140,000 miles on the truck.
haha....i pulled out many an F-150 and Z71 with my v6 5spd toyota tacoma 4x4...that thing wouldnt quit and seemed to have the torque to move a house when i really needed it...wasnt quite the highway driver i wished it was but it had low end grunt...i will have to dig for some pics of it pulling out some fullsize trucks...
The guy that pulled me out had no clue how to drive. He was smoken his clutch the whole time. I feal bad for it.....
Haha, I wouldn't be questioning the driving skills of the guy that pulled you out. Looks like yours are questionable from the pics
I'm actually suprised he was able to pull you out, assuming he was in a "mid-size" Toy. Was it a Tacoma, Tundra, SUV? Hope you get everything cleaned up.
