I'm originally from Tamaqua. I lived in the Harrisburg area the last 3 years, and just moved to the Hershey area.

So even though I asked this before. Anyone know of any great off roading camping places in Western PA? Somewhere that I can go and not get cell phone coverage or be within walking distance of civilization?

New 2009 F150 Lariat SCrew owner here in Williamsport, PA. Stepped up from a 99 Ranger SCab XLT that I have nothing but good things to say about. Except that I get the same gas mileage in my 5.4L V8 as I did in my 4.0L V6 if not a little better. Plus I can actually fit Me and others (and a car seat) something the Ranger could never do.

Harrisburg Junk Yard

Hey guys,
I'm originally from Pittsburgh, and junk yards were a dime a dozen. I used to love to just kick around looking for parts for my old vehicles. Since I moved out here to Harrisburg, I can't find any good salvage yards! Anyone know of any in the area. The closest one I've seen is down outside of Gettysburg, and unless I'm just in the area, I don't plan on making a special trip that far. If not, maybe it's time to start a new business? lol.

Thanks guys!

thanks optika! I was hoping to find one less than an hour away, but I think I'll just have to make a day of it...but it would be a day well spent.

Awesome! I work down in York, so I'll definitely have to check out Lewisberry/Newberrytown. And I can DEFINITELY make it over to New Cumberland. Thanks!
