Got a hunting/fishing camp out in Chenango county - that's about as close to Vernon as I get. I'm in Eastern NY.

Where abouts on L.I. are you? I've got relatives in Brookhaven and Southampton.

Use to spend a week with them every summer as a youngster enjoying the beaches and fishing.

Hello Jeff and welcome to the forum. Whereabouts are you in Chenango county? I've got a hunting/fishing camp in Pharsalia.

This will be my third season deer hunting in Pharsalia and haven't taken one yet. I've seen lots of does but I've only seen a couple bucks taken. I saw a fella take a nice 8pt buck last season.

I was at camp this weekend and saw a couple nice size does. We made a trip on Saturday to Norwich for the annual Colorscape festival. I don't know if you ever went to that but it was a lot of fun.

12GA maybe this will be the year. Bow season is only about a month away, I can't wait, we put in about a 2 acre food plot and the deer love it . Should be fun. Good luck this season. Jeff

Yup, I'm right smack dab in the middle of NY. Been to Chenango county fairgrounds (Norwich) for the car show, nice turnout. We were car entry # 362 on Saturday (musclecar/hotrod day). Grew up in Verona Beach, right on the east shore of Oneida Lake.
