It's the slowest 1/2 ton truck on the market why did it need brake upgrades? J/K
No more flareside in 2010.

They are nice trucks. I don't need all that fancy stuff that comes with an XLT. A coworker has an XLT with power pedals... I'm the only one who drives my truck.

My dealer told me that Ford is going to kill the FX4 to save costs. I haven't seen this, but I don't like it. Can anyone confirm this? Maybe it just goes back to a package deal? He did not say when so that is all I know. Thanks.

It is not its own trim level anymore, it is an option package.
