Swap OEM radio for OEM Nav

I have a 2010 F150 and was wondering if it was possible and, if so, how much it cost to swap a basic OEM Ford radio unit and put in a OEM Ford Nav system. I realize I would have to switch out the center dash piece also. Just wondering if anybody had done it or not, or knows if it's even possible. I've tried calling Tasca a couple of times but I can't seem to catch them. Thanks guys!

I saw another thread today about this. It looks like its possible. The center piece is called a bevel I believe and it just has to be switched out to fit the oem nav system. or any other indash nav. I just think that through the dealer it's 89405394 times more expensive than aftermarket products. Maybe get lucky with Tasca??

It's EASY to do. Just buy the NAV radio and bezel.

The problem is from what I understand is the NAV radio's are almost impossible to get, what supply they have is going into the production line vehicals.

IF you could get one ordered, the radio and bezel will likely cost about $3,000-$4,000.

ThaChad was right... The dealership said it was going $4100 big fat smackaroos.... I'll probably get the OEM bezel with an aftermarket nav/dvd player. What are some recommendations for aftermarket nav?

I like the Kenwood Units the best.

They use GARMIN nav which I personally like.

I have a Garmin Excelon and a Pioneer NAV, the Pioneer just plain SUCKS.

Their software sucks, it's slow and laggy, their bluetooth integration sucks even more and their nav software is alot harder to use.

Garmin/Kenwood is ALOT easier/faster to use, the bluetooth integration in the kenwood works much like factory bluetooth with no problems what to ever, their interface is much faster/more responsive, etc.

I have the Premium 6 disk system and I am disappointed in the sound quality. I went to Best buy for a price on a HU with nav and B/T built in and new door speakers.
With all the added stuff they said I needed to make it all work in my truck, I was up to $2800...

I am not sure I wanna spend that kind of $$... Pretty steep imo.

Actually, $2800 installed isn't that bad, of course you could do it your self for quite a bit cheaper.... My Kenwood Excelon HU was about $2,000 alone.. Not to mention the bezel, the wire harnesses and install. I installed it myself though, and you can buy the bezel and wire harnesses alot cheaper on eBay. The bezel and harnesses have HUGE mark up at retail stores.

I just picked up a BRAND NEW factory nav from a 2011 F-150 with bezel, controls, screen (with plastic still over it) and the unit itself for 682.00 . It came from a total loss truck with 10 miles on it.

No idea what the loss was , but the window sticker created by the VIN shows a line item of TOTAL LOSS. Anyways, fully guaranteed so a few things to figure out but I have somewhere to start.

My main concerns are if the SYNC module is the same from the Lariat donor truck to my FX4 (without the factory nav), and finding the camera video feed.

I'd jump all over that deal if it presented itself to me. I've hit up all the local salvage yards with none having a newer f150
