pioneer avic-f____bt series, may work in others but this series is the only nav unit i know anything about

Just did two quick ones using some of the pics posted on the second page.
these are 1680X960 which fits the Kenwood 8120 perfectly

 

Fabian, could you down size these for me, I have the 7120 and they are way too big. The manual says the 7120 uses 480x234

 

Is there anyway to use these backgrounds other then at start up? I have tried to see if I could use them as background when I am using the radio or cd. I have the Avic-F900BT. Thanks.

sure, i think my 8120 just resizes whatever you load the problem is if its not in the specific ratio of width to height it will leave black bars either above and below or on each side depending what demension is larger.
After i posted i realized how large they were lol.

Lol the kenwoods run them as a say 'desktop', whenever any source is playing, and i kinda wish it would run them at startup lol You just cant ever win
At least you pioneer guys have a following and a forum with lots of cool mods and info. I have yet to hear about kenwoods being hacked

 

Some nice backgrounds. Is there any way to use these on the factory nav systems for the F150? If so how does one go about it?

 

Can anyone make one with a dark toredor red and the supercab flareside body style?

 

Bumping this old topic: I had to reset my head unit and lost the flash drive that had my background on it... Just in case anyone else wanted to throw some in here or use one.

Can I download some of theses on my kenwood 6180 by my laptop or do I need a thumb drive? If so can someone explain how?
