I've been thinking of swapping the platinum grille into my lariat and this may be the best option, would you consider coming to richmond? I live in NoVA and I come down there every now and then to the gun shops in ashland. Maybe we could swap on the spot somewhere. Let me know.

Hey Kurt, sorry to say I've decided to stick with the platinum grille. I found a local shop that is going to color match the grille to the rest of the truck and I'm going to remove the factory egg crate grille insert with a billet horizontal grille insert. Saw it on another local Platinum and it looked great.

 

post a pic when you're done, that sounds interesting. I have ingot silver and wanted to see what it looked like. Maybe I'll color match it with the bars in chrome.

 

ktogun...will do! The Platinum I saw with the painted-to-match grille was silver. The horizontal grille insert was by Carriage Works. Really sharp looking combo. Might be a little while before I get it done.

 

If the Platinum insert is intact, I'd be interested in buying it.
