ok. just wondering who in the mid atlantic area can suggest an upholstery shop. i have all the components required to do the expy console modification. but i dont know of any local upholstery shop that can cut down the seat for me. reading all the threads about the modification, seems like the going rate to cut down the split bench has been anywhere from 200-350.

only shop i know of is dave's trim shop in glen burnie. i went down there with my truck & said he wanted to see under the seat, so i had to bring it back when the seat was unbolted. well, brought it down so he can l"ook under it" and he doesnt even flip the seat over. he looks at it and tell me $550 to cut it down

im willing to pay 200-350, but $550 is out of my budget to cut it down. can anyone suggest a different shop that they know can do the job?
