If I were you I would get a extra can of the base coat just to be on the safe side. You should have enough of the other 2 to do the handles..

Buy your supplys herehttp://www.automotivetouchup.com/ Buy 1 can of base color, 1 can of clear & one can of adhesion promoter. Smooth the caps off by starting with a 220 grit sandpaper then a 400 till you finish off with a 1000 grit. Make sure and clean the mirrors with Dawn soap before and after sanding..
I did not remove the mirrors to do this, JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS IN A GARAGE WITH NO WIND & MASK THE WHOLE MIRROR EVEN THE MIRROR/GLASS also be sure to put down plenty of newspaper . I found that this brand sprays did not really over spray much. The way I did mine was per the cans directions, starting with 2 coats of adhesion promoter ( I did not use any type of filler)
Then I put 4 coats of base coat and 3 coats of clear. If you sand the mirrors down good ,follow the cans directions down to a t & take your time..you should get awesome results.

You bet! Good lucking truck. I've always prefered the lifted look. Where did you find your lights/light bar? I would like to do the same on mine some day.
