Just install the kit then go to the shop and show/tell them what you want done, they'll handle it from there and bill ya.

What would you need a lift for? You can install the cat-back without a lift, or you could back it up on ramps or jack it up and put jack stands under. If OEM doesn't come off cut it off. Then installing the kit will be a breeze.
The clamps provided in the cat-back are stainless and will last forever just like the kit will.

Paid Off? Now that Is Impressive!!!
Dang - I still have three more years of payments on mine - and I was all proud of myself for putting 10% down and getting the 0% Rate - free money. Still - I can't wait to make that final payment.
It is such a nice feeling to not be in Debt. Enjoy is when you can, while you can. It only happens every so often in life - even if you are smart.
Well Done!!!

I would highly suggest you install the cat-back yourself to save alot on a labor cost. An exhaust shop could charge you around $50 - $80 for the install of a direct fit cat-back.
Having a shop bend the tailpipes out to the sides could be about $50. I would put longer tips on if you do so because I think 12" is much too short. I went with 12" on my old Chevy and it didn't look right. Maybe try selling the Roush tips at a good price and buy a 4x18 set.

Driving the Van-
I know that deal. When I was in High School, before I got my own truck (53 Chevy - still have it), I was compelled to drive my Mom's 4x4 '72 Suburban (before I thought Suburbans were 'cool').
Actually it worked out rather well. I didn't realize just how many 'friends' I had until it became known that I had open seats available for my frequent weekend trips into the Sand Dunes and Ski Trips into the mountains. "Dude - where ya going this weekend. Do ya got an open seat? I'll buy your lift ticket if I can go too."
Some of those 'leach friends' from way back then are now some of my dearest friends today, 25 years later. It all works out.
Yeah - never knock the kid with the 15 Pax Van or the Suburban or the family Station Wagon.
Seems to me that your new truck can seat at least five, plus haul baggage in the rear under a lockable cover. Yup... Can you say "Road Trip Truck"?

Granny Driving-
Laughing... Naw - you're driving 'smart'. You don't have to be 'slow' - just be 'smooth'. There will be those times when you'll need to give her the whip... but otherwise save it 'til you need it, and save a bunch of money in the process for all cooler stuff.
Sounds like you have a good plan for your rig. Post some 'pictures in progress' when you get time. Have fun!

Hell of a good way to start. Nice rig!
Dress it up with reasonable components, keep it healthy with religious maintenance, and treat it right without whipping it until those very rare times when you must get-up and scoot out of trouble... and your new horse will last as long as you want it to (200,000 Miles or more).
Worked for me.
Good Luck!
